WIEN 01.02 We live at Ptzleinsdorferstrae 103, in the 18th district of Vienna. Our house is adjacent to a very nice park, the Ptzleinsdorfer Schlopark. The neighborhood is at the very edge of the city, next to the Vienna Woods, at the end of the 41 Tram. The asphalt street switches to a narrow cobblestone motif just before our house, because the row of houses and the church were built in the early to mid 1700's; it's very quaint although the autos rumble a bit as the vehicles drive past our house. Directly across the one lane street is a very small church built in 1730; the bell is exact and rings on the quarter hour with a thankfully very pleasant tone.

We can't really tell yet, but our first impression is that
this district (the 18th) has more younger people than the 19th where we lived
before, and it feels a bit more international here. |
